Jennifer, someone who would want to practice on sunday, would they have to have a full membership, etc. Some of the old riders would like to come out sunday morning and give it another whirl, let me know.

yes, you have to have a vaid membership to practice. If there is anyone who has not already raced before we can do one days, but anyone who has already had a membership would have to renew.

We had the 2008 schedule on the website, but something happened when the last update was done and the 2007 schedule ended up back on there. Kyle is working on correcting the problem.

Everyone needs to go race the PRO-AM at Chesapeake on Monday its going to be fun and the more people there is the bigger the pay out plus they might pay top 8 if there are plenty of riders!

The state championship race IS what used to be called the State Championship qualifier. They no longer call it a qualifier because you do not have to race it to be able to race in the final. You only have to race it if you want to be eligible to earn the state championship title. The final has not been scheduledyet. When it is Scheduled we will announce the date. It is usually at the late summer or early fall.

Are there any other races , such as some min number of locals, in which you need to attend to participate in the state championship series. Or does only the one "qualifier" and the championship points determine the overall champion?

no minnimum number of races required. They take the points from the state race and the points from the state final to determine the champion. Points are earned based on finish in the main event at each race. Experts earn more points then Inters and Inters earn more then Novice riders. Cruisers, and Girls earn Expert points. Depending on what state you are from you may have to race multiple state races. You can race in the state race or State final in any state but you can only earn a title in your own state and only the races in your own state count towards that title.

when are the 19-27 boys novice going to start racing there own class instead of the experts and getting humiliated every week

Unfortunately there are not enough riders in that class to form a legal class, so the classes have to be combined. Several of the age groups have the same problem. There are only a couple age/proficiancies that are not combined. The best way to fix the problem is to encourage people to come out and race. Try recruiting some of your friends to come out and try it. The more riders we have coming out to the track...the better the odds of having your own class.

just wanted to let everyone know if they would like the track in perfect shape to suit everyone that rides maybe they should all come out early before the race and help work on it a little bit! there have been many of times i see people sitting on the picnic tables while others are working. if we all work together maybe just sweep a straight a week or whatever it will be tons easier to maintain everything and we might even get more people out

No practice on the 22nd, but remember we will be racing on tuesday and friday. We also will need help at the track on Wednesday evening 6pm to get the track ready for next weekend.

Help is needed tomorrow at the track. Unfortunaely our sound system took a hit in one of the storms last week and we have to replace it. We will have a trancher at the track in the morning to trench in new wiring out to the track but we will have to back fill the hole by hand. Any help we can get will be appreciated,

One day memberships can only be used at single point events. All riders must have a full membership to race Sunday.
